BMW 5 Series Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for BMW 5 Series cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price for October is £47,901. During November there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till £43,634. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from £45,767.5 to £44,132.5. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from £44,950 to £46,657.5 during February and March.
The average price for BMW 5 Series has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is £9,498.36. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (£4,323) moving up till (£25,911)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 249 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 11 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (£37,159.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2023, 2024) with a price of £41,195.

They are 94 % more affordable than the average price (£47,963). Next with a price of £15,105 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. It is 8% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at £38,182.
