BMW 4 Series Vehicles have gone through a strong increase in their selling price recently. There has been a considerable inflation in the selling prices for this model.
The retail prices for BMW 4 Series cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in June the average price was £34,222. July went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till £40,839. During the following two months (August, September) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 30 % from £37,530.5 to £48,846. The average price has risen 5 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (£45,515) during October and November.
The average price for BMW 4 Series has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2013 and 2020, the average price is £15,468.5. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2013 (£9,332) moving up till (£20,982)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 112 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 10 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (£36,432.25) and the the last two years that were studied (2023, 2024) with a price of £40,045.
The graph that displays the price for BMW 4 Series cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 77 % more affordable than the average price (£44,512). Next with a price of £19,675 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 8% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at £36,016.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for BMW 4 Series cars points out to "Diesel" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 42 % less expensive than the average market price (£44,512) followed by "Hybrid" priced at £29,785. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 6 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Hybrid" with a price of £29,785.

These are followed by those with 5 doors with an average price of £26,158. Cars with the lowest price have 2 doors and are 16 % cheaper than the average previously displayed.
