BMW M5 Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for BMW M5 cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in April was £37,721. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at £36,748 during May. The following two months (June, July) the selling price went through a devaluation of -9 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from £35,620 to £35,219 during August and September.
The average price for BMW M5 has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2012 and 2019, the average price is £31,346.33. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2012 (£18,494) moving up till (£42,311)in 2019. During the next two years (2020, 2021) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 68 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 5 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (£55,408.75) and the the last two years that were studied (2022, 2023) with a price of £58,269.5.
The graph that displays the price for BMW M5 cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 47 % more affordable than the average price (£36,478). Next with a price of £28,068 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "10,000 - 25,000". It is 50% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "less than 10,000" and a price of £46,950.
