Renault 18

The Renault 18 model is a large family car that was in production between 1978 and 1993. This vehicle was manufactured as a replacement for Renault 12. In the beginning, customers had to choose from two types of engines: 1.6 and 1.4 litres. Later, it has undergone several changes. This very model was a four door sedan. It was available in different trim levels such as TL, GTL, TS and GTS. The first two models ran on Renault Cléon petrol engine. They included four-speed gearbox. But TS and GTS models ran on A-Type engine. GTS included 5-speed gearbox whereas TS incorporated four-speed manual gearbox.

This model was the first car to make use of the Renault’s Cléonengine. This model was quite simple and elegant in appearance. Renault logo had been embedded in the central position of the grilles in the front. The headlights were stylish enough to give the car a smart look. This vehicle incorporated all necessary fundamentals that a car must have. Some of which include side mirror, windshield wipers and so on. Moreover, the cabin was well-built and airy.

The seats were comfortable so that passengers and driver had a comfortable journey. It was quite easy and fun to drive this vehicle.
