Kia Rio Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Kia Rio cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in August was £15,793. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at £15,491 during September. The following two months (October, November) the selling price went through a devaluation of -5 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two, the price has gone through a -12 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from £15,246.25 to £13,458.5 during December and January.
The average price for Kia Rio has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2009 and 2019, the average price is £5,215.27. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2009 (£2,319) moving up till (£9,617)in 2019. During the next two years (2020, 2021) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 107 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 14 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (£12,515.25) and the the last two years that were studied (2022, 2023) with a price of £14,217.
