Ford S-Max Vehicles have experienced a considerable decrease in their selling price recently. This model has gone through a strong reduction in its selling price.
The selling price for Ford S-Max cars has had a strong depreciation during the last 6 months we have studied. The average price for March is £30,688. During April there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till £26,458. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -31 % compared to the previous two months studied. The average price has risen 7 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (£25,825) during July and August.
The average price for Ford S-Max has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2007 and 2020, the average price is £8,662.29. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2007 (£2,147) moving up till (£21,929)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 213 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 13 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (£31,227.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2023, 2024) with a price of £35,343.
The graph that displays the price for Ford S-Max cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 83 % more affordable than the average price (£26,556). Next with a price of £12,606 and a mileage range of "50,000 - 100,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most expensive cars is "less than 10,000". It is 17% more costly than the average market value followed by those vehicles with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" and a price of £27,256.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Ford S-Max cars points out to "Petrol" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 53 % less expensive than the average market price (£26,556) followed by "Diesel" priced at £18,498. On average the most expensive type of fuel is "Hybrid". It´s price is 20 % higher than the average market price followed by "Diesel" which costs £18,498.
