Toyota Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for Toyota cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. In April the average price per vehicle is £51,548. During May the price went trough a strong deflation till £43,429. The average selling price has remained fairly constant during the following two months, going from £47,488.5 to £48,362. The average price has risen 6 % during the last two months. This result was obtained based on the price for the first four months (PRECIO1!) and the price (£50,815.5) during August and September.
The average price for Toyota has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is £9,265.18. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (£9,859) moving up till (£28,043)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 262 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 11 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (£37,562) and the the last two years that were studied (2023, 2024) with a price of £41,593.5.
The graph that displays the price for Toyota cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 92 % more affordable than the average price (£48,458). Next with a price of £13,233 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 6% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at £38,655.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for Toyota cars points out to "Electric" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 41 % less expensive than the average market price (£48,458) followed by "Diesel" priced at £37,931. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 14 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Hybrid" with a price of £39,255.
The graph showing the average price for Toyota cars displays those with 2 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 62 % more affordable than the average price (£48,458). These are followed by those with 4 doors with an average price of £21,564. Cars with the lowest average price have 5 !doors and are 8 % cheaper than the average followed by those with 3 doors with a selling price of £35,919.
