SsangYong Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for SsangYong cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price for October is £40,846. During November there was a slight reduction in the selling prices dropping till £36,890. The following two months (December, January) the selling price went through a devaluation of -8 percent in the average selling price compared to the previous two months analyzed. In the last two, the price has gone through a -8 % devaluation compared to the previous average values going down from £37,282.75 to £34,284 during February and March.
The average price for SsangYong has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2012 and 2020, the average price is £9,291.44. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2012 (£4,462) moving up till (£15,247)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 114 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 15 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (£23,437) and the the last two years that were studied (2023, 2024) with a price of £26,951.5.
