The retail prices for Harley-Davidson cars have gone through a strong rise during the last 6 months. During the first month analyzed in November the average price was £18,316. December went through a strong inflation with a rise in the price till £23,750. During the following two months (January, February) the average selling price experienced a noticeable rise, going up 19 % from £21,033 to £25,029. In the last two months, the price has gone through a strong devaluation of -18 % compared to the 4 previous average values going down from £23,031 to £18,810.
The average price for Harley-Davidson has had a strong rise in recent years. Between 2010 and 2020, the average price is £12,900.29. There was a significant inflation of the average price in 2010 (£10,448) moving up till (£16,096)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 30 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 14 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (£19,394.5) and the the last two years that were studied (2023, 2024) with a price of £22,035.5.
