BMW Vehicles have gone through a slight decrease in their retail price recently. This model has gone through an overall fall in its selling price.
The selling price for BMW cars has fallen during the last 6 months we have analyzed. The average price in March was £97,236. This price hardly went through any changes and remained at £94,131 during April. The following two months the selling price went through a strong reduction of -16 % compared to the previous two months studied. During the last couple of months, the average price has hardly changed, remaining the same going from £88,196.5 to £88,030 during July and August.
The average price for BMW has had a strong rise in recent years. Between "before 2000" and 2020, the average price is £15,793.45. There was a significant inflation of the average price in "before 2000" (£10,291) moving up till (£50,158)in 2020. During the next two years (2021, 2022) the price for the aforementioned model has gone up strongly a 279 %. During the last two years, prices in the car industry have gone up 11 % compared to the average values for the previous 4 years. This conclusion was reached from studying the prices for the the preceding four years in previous sample (£67,622) and the the last two years that were studied (2023, 2024) with a price of £75,329.
The graph that displays the price for BMW cars according to their mileage shows that those cars within a mileage range of "more than 200,000" are the ones with the lowest price. They are 97 % more affordable than the average price (£88,118). Next with a price of £20,005 and a mileage range of "100,000 - 200,000" we would see the following vehicles. The mileage range for the most affordable cars is "less than 10,000". It is 7% less expensive than the average market value followed by those cars with a mileage of "10,000 - 25,000" priced at £70,662.
The graph showing the average price for the fuel type for BMW cars points out to "Hybrid" as being the cheapest fuel type. It is 46 % less expensive than the average market price (£88,118) followed by "Electric" priced at £51,543. On average the cheapest type of fuel is "Petrol". It´s price is 5 % more affordable than the average market value followed by "Diesel" with a price of £64,725.
The graph showing the average price for BMW cars displays those with 3 doors as the cheapest ones. They are 82 % more affordable than the average price (£88,118). These are followed by those with 2 doors with an average price of £59,854. Cars with the lowest average price have 5 !doors and are 6 % cheaper than the average followed by those with 4 doors with a selling price of £65,983.
